Resolution 1297/2010 of the Working Minisiterio set the increase in salaries for staff in domestic work included in the income categories established by Decree N ยบ 7979/56.
Thus, the new rule states that as of November 12, 2010 the minimum monthly wage set are as follows:
FIRST CATEGORY:

THIRD CATEGORY:
(cook / ra, mucamos / as, auxiliary nurses in general for all work, 4 assistants / as, home and gardens) $ 1,847.63.
FOURTH CATEGORY:
(apprentices generally 16 to 17 years) $ 1,657.50.

(retired staff who work daily).
